Do you know Love? By Ahzjah Simons, Publisher Conscious Hue-niversal Living Magazine

Within space and time as we know it, there are fancy cars, jet planes, money, time, work, education, careers, houses, things, things and more things. And then there is Love, the most powerful force in existence. In the blink of an eye this thing called Love can alter people, countries, civilizations and history. Have you heard of it?

For me, love has been freedom, peace, heaven, bliss, sincerity, honesty, pure, real, open, unconditional and a connection that goes beyond words. I could not really describe the heights love has taken me to throughout my life, for it transcends the mind's interpretation and comprehension or capacity. It is somehow a combination of heart, mind, soul, body and cosmos. I could say its just a simple matter of physics and magnetic energy, but that would not acknowledge one tiny important factor....the human heart.

There are those who have experienced love as a beautiful thing and of course, those who have learned love as pain, violence, verbal/physical abuse, restraint and confinement, utilizing blunt force, rape, conflict,mental games and more. Some love is expressed only from a distance or when there is "time" for it. Then there is the classic form of love which comes with criteria, requirements, attachments and conditions. We set parameters so that we can have a defense mechanism in place and we say "love can be experienced only within these set parameters". Why? That is not true Love. That is true Fear.

Love allows you to soar to new heights, and love makes everything else in comparison seem complicated because it is so simple. I think if there were a University of Love, all humans should go. Not because it is that in depth of a subject, but more to strip away and release all of the perceptions, illusions, drama and emotions we have attached to our perception of love and our unique programming of Love. Upon graduation we could then experience love, allow love, and reveal love as our creator intended.

I was inspired by A Father's Love, the name of this cover's artwork, because it so beautifully captures what can only be expressed through the eyes, felt, and not spoken at all. To me that is love. You can clearly see love is captured in this father's eyes. So many fathers feel love, but don't know how to express it because of how they learned it. I have seen many fathers love their children in various ways. The only ways they knew how, still never quite connecting or conveying the feeling they somehow hoped would be conveyed. So many children go through life not understanding how their father loved them and often felt as if they didn't love them at all. A father's love goes unrecognized, unspoken, and often misunderstood. It is part of the carefully selected emotions they have often been trained to stuff down, suppress or hide, sometimes for protection or simply for fear of an exposed heart.

A father's love, a mother's love, a friend's love, a child's love, or the love of a soulmate,soul family member or twin flame; funny how love is perceived, received, and defined in various ways. The way that we learn everything else in this life, prior to the age of reasoning (age 9-12) as it is called, appears to be the way we express love. Through observing behavior patterns,stimuli and response of our "loved" ones and people in our environment,love is "programmed in".

Each of us have the temporary emotional journeys we must evolve through in order for growth and transformation to occur, but Love is always constant, grounded and anchored for us to access at any time, even before we choose or don't choose to rise from the ashes. Love never leaves us. We're just blinded by temporary distractions and forget it is there. Of course, Love, God and Truth live in the intense emotions that allow us to grow as well. It is in those moments of separateness from source that we remember to reach for Love, God and Truth with everything we have, if we have anything left, for one or all to remove ourselves from the depths of our pain, not remembering that we ARE love and love is Omni present.

In the past, I have found myself in a space, stiffled by fear and negativity. Only to realize, there was nothing existing in my world at the time that should have created it. Then I realized, it came from an external source. I let too much "stuff" in. I allowed other people's problems, issues, struggles, anxiety, pain and suffering to enter my space. With each instance, my Heaven was diminished a little more. Since then, I've learned to be sensitive to others experiences without allowing their emotions to blend in with or influence mine.

Through my eyes, Love is pure. Love is simple. Love is freedom and our gateway to Heaven Upon Earth (HUE-niverse). It might be easier to focus on manifesting heaven in our lives if we weren't constantly bombarded with fear and negativity. The blessing is, if we realize fear and negativity are present and how they exist in even the most subtle of ways, we can transcend them. In order to maintain our own inner balance, we must release ourselves from any environment that breeds negativity and fear. Or before we know it, we are creating the same fear and negativity which we originally intended to repel.

In this time of changing dimensions and great shifts it is becoming ever-increasingly important to stay focused on and aligned with Source energy or Love. Think of a time when you felt happy, satisfied, content, passionate, peaceful, and blissful. I believe within these moments are where Love, God and Truth also live. How and when you access Love is up to you. The conscious choice is always yours.

In this thing we call the HUE-niverse, there is that place within time and space that we know love. We have no doubt or fear about it,nor do we have to think about it. We simply know.
The knowing is inside the feeling. The thinking mind, programmed by fear, attempts to question the feeling as it has been programmed to do. Still, on an intuitive level we know deep inside, it is real and it is Love. In those moments, surrender to Love. In those moments, surrender to your passions, joy and peace. Then you can truly be love,express love, know love. It is as our creator intended.

Ms. Simons' intense love for life empowerment, music, performing, media forums, her passion for ancient wisdom and the healing arts, along with her desire to support the healing of humanity is the driving creative force behind the continuous stream of fresh innovative CLO projects and initiatives rolled out each year.
Since it's inception in 2002,Conscious Living Omni-Media Group, CLO has launched Conscious Hue-niversal Living Magazine, The Conscious Cafe, WHPN The Source.FM Radio Station, Natural Living Radio, Corporate Holistics,Conscious Atlanta/Worldwide and on the horizon Conscious Living Journey Television online. CLO most recently introduced an interactive visual radio event called The Conscious Cafe featuring a unique combination of wellness, entertainment and creative expression. On the horizon for CLO Group is CONSCIOUS EXPO! and The Conscious Choice Awards.
With childhood obesity and other diseases on the rise,and as a mother of two, Ms. Simons began to feel a strong calling to focus on our future leaders, our children. Equipped with the combined experience and knowledge of the CLO Group and it's growing network, the organization was poised to readily answer the call to meet the need of serving children and nurturing them to be healthy children in our lifetime. The Children's Wellness Network (CWN) was founded in January of 2007. CWN's initial projects included Conscious Kids Club & Aftercare,Conscious Kid's Summer Day Camp, Living Legacy Gardens,Kid's Kingdom Radio/TV, Conscious Kid's Magazine and the Annual Kid's FUN*FEST. Ms. Simons vision for the future of CWN will give birth to the Conscious Living Arts and Sciences School.(CLASS) a 15 million dollar project slated for completion 2012.

As Ms. Simons was conceptualizing CWN and putting the vision into action,simultaneously,friend and colleague, Jennifer Franklin, President of Olive Group, a green marketing and business support firm, was fostering the same passion and motivation to make a difference in the lives and health of children. With her expertise and experience as a twenty five year chef, sales and marketing consultant, natural foods industry education and a mother of four, Ms Franklin came on board as a founding partner,network member, and the Operations Specialist in order to breathe life into her own vision for children while broadening the overall vision of CWN's Culinary Arts division with respect to nutritional health. As Operations Specialist and Director CWN Culinary Arts division, Ms. Franklin is the visionary and driving force behind the Totally healthy Kids Cooking School, Farm to School and School Wellness Council programs as well as the co-creator and event producer for Kid's FUN*FEST.

Most recently, friend and colleague Carolyn Renee',Founder of Creative Frequencies and WHOA! (Women Helping Others Advance),and CLO Director of Creative Arts/Culture, and Executive Director of Alternate Roots has also come on board CWN to serve as Creative Arts Division Lead for CWN's Conscious Kids Club/Aftercare, Kid's Kingdom Summer Day Camp,Conscious Youth Leadership and Empowerment and to share her expertise, skills and experience in the performing arts,community organizing, fundraising,public administration/public policy and all other CWN/CLO business ventures.
